One or two parents needed to be the contact person for this event - simply gathering names of other CHEG members who hope to attend, and plan to meet out there for a fellowship time, or to see the demonstrations together?
MAR 16 - NEXT CHEG MEETING
Curriculum Display - we need parents to offer their curriculum items for display, and a willingness to answer individual questions about their books at the tables.
No public speaking involved!
Apr 8-10 OHIO Homeschool Conference - Cincinnati, OH
One-two parents needed to take names of those parents interested in attending this conference. Arrange carpool/rides/hotel.
Apr 24 - Spring Saturday Showcase
Gretchen Wright is the contact person for this event, but she needs the names of your children who are interested in participating with their music, art, speech, poetry, lego-creations, science displays, etc...
She'd probably love an "assistant" to help with set-up/tear-down as well!
(Great opportunity for an older student!)
Who We Are
- Clifton Homeschool Encouragement Group
- Clifton Homeschool Encouragement Group exists to encourage and edify parents who are involved in home schooling their children, as well as those interested in homeschooling in the future. The group meets several times throughout the year and plans events for both parents and children.
God is in the business of transforming people. He calls us to have a living relationship with Himself and to teach our children His Word and ways. He has told us that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..." (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10). We are to pass on this wisdom to the next generation.
May we exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in our homes, and as we seek to encourage the Body of Christ at Clifton. May we show forth the wisdom of the Gospel as we LEARN FROM Him, OF Him, and FOR Him.
