On May 23, 2009, four Kentuckiana homeschooled students held their 2009 high school graduation ceremony at Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville. All four of the students came from families associated with the Heart 'n Homeschool support group in New Albany, IN, and one of the graduates, Elizabeth Jane Bloom, is a member at Clifton.

About 150 people attended the graduation, which included music selections by Andrew Case, a Clifton member, a charge to the graduates by Pastor Tom Schreiner, and a musical Powerpoint presentation created by Beth Bloom. In addition, the graduates' parents each spoke to their daughters as they thanked the many family and friends who had a positive influence on their child. Graduates received their diplomas, and in turn, expressed their gratitude with red roses to parents and special persons in the audience.

Guests were invited to a reception in the Clifton Fellowship Hall after the graduation, where display boards by each graduate were available for viewing.

Special thanks to the many who helped with decorating, lending needed items, serving food, running the soundboard and video camera, helping with set-up/clean-up, and helping make it a beautiful day celebrating God's goodness to the four graduates.
